Andrea & James Nugent. Wedding at The Wild Boar Hotel

Andrea and James’ cadbury’s purple and silver snowflake wedding was a perfect mixture of delicious hints of chocolate with a beautiful christmas twist. Each and every element of the wedding was a reflection on them. From the influence of old (Bridget Bardot) to the fun kid dying to get out! The overall tone of the day was clearly love. With tears of joy shared with the Bride and Groom by everyone! At times, I will say there was not a dry eye in the house!

They were married at the  luxurious Tudor hotel, The Wild Boar.

Leonie James & Emily - Beautiful :o )

Welcome to the Finney’s Christmas!

My Family and I finally managed to get our Christmas Decorations up this week. As always, I was super excited and had to put up with the funny looks from the boys for being like a kid in Santa’s workshop (yes, seriously I am THAT bad) I love everything about Christmas. I start off with the lounge, followed by the dining room then the boys Grotto (conservatry) Once all the decorations are up, it’s time to wrap  ”Family” presents! The second best thing! This is solely MY job! Every year I decide on either a them or colour. This year  Have gone with parcels. Red, White and Brown Package paper. traditional and cute!

Christmas has become such a special time of year for me. Since meeting my husband and having my boys, its a time of year that cannot be beaten! I enjoy being with my family, sharing a wonderful meal with the men in my life plus my PIL, BIL and my best and beautiful friend! Our days start out with the usual of me waking the children up at the crack of dawn, dragging them downstairs, and shoving the camera (Peanut) in their smiling faces as they open gifts! This is followed by a morning of tackling toys that refuse to come out the box, climbing the equivalent of Mt Everest in paper and stuffing chocolate. All the whilst, christmas music is playing in the background.  We then package the gifts, the children and of course, Atlas into the car and trundle off for more gift giving and opening with the PIL before our Christmas dinner! Our evenings are filled with great company, lots of laughter and a lot of love!

Wishing you all the very best Christmas!!!

First Snow Fall. The day before the big day!

As I prepare for my last wedding shoot of the year, I am sat in my office watching the snow fall. And fall. And fall some more! Its absolutely beautiful out there and it fills me with so many great ideas for James and Andrea’s big day at the Wild Boar Hotel in Tarporley! I cannot not wait! It is these moments that I realise how privileged I am to be a photographer. Not only have I a Christmas wedding (which is my all time favourite time of the year) but I also have snow too! Im extactic! I will say this one thing. I am NOT looking forward to the drive over in the morning!

In the mean time, I had to take some time out to go and play and took my camera along too:) Below is my favourite shot of the afternoon alongside the worlds most beautiful dog (yes he is mine) Atlas x
