Kate and Ian

“I have died every day waiting for you
Darling don’t be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more”

~ Christina Perri – A Thousand Years~

It was so much fun meeting Kate and Ian today in preparation of their wedding at Cranage Hall this summer. You pair make a great couple and I can not wait to shoot your big day! xx

Foodcraft Product Photography

Foodcraft is my husband’s business, it is a multiple award-winning traditional fish and chip shop which also doubles up as a bakery selling “Finney’s” famous pies and custards to customers as far as Australia!

After almost 2 years of being live, Foodcraft Fish and Chips’ website was in need of a new look! Keeping it in the family, John approached me to update the site and meat it our with some new pictures. I find it very difficult to say no to my hubby and of course, headed over to the shop today to take some images of him baking some of his delicious steak pies – Naturally, the smell of home-made pies always makes my tummy grumble and I had to come home with one after all that hard work! I need to be at the top of the game with quality control!

Home-Made Pies - Delicious!

Crowned Embellishments

How many times can a girl discover new and beautiful things in the space of a week?!! First I’m spoiled by Bloom Theory camera straps, and now I discover Crowned Embellishments. Exquisite hand-made crowns made from vintage textiles, painted and cured to perfection.

Looks like more pennies will be winging their way from my bank account this month!

Bear in the the big Finney house.

He has paws about as delicate as sandpaper loo roll and hasn’t yet learned to type, so let me tell you all about the big bear….

- ATLAS. Alaskan Malmaute, Age 2.
- Is convinced he is a lap dog.
- Doesn’t like scary movies.
- Often hides behind the couch during the “scary bits”
- Gets extremely excited over absolutely e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g.
- Loves sausages. fish. ham. Food in general.
- Favorite pastime is driving in the car with the windows down.
- Shows a lot of luvin’ with big sloppy kisses, usually accompanied with a paw to the face.
- Has no shame. At all.
- Can pick up things you have dropped.
- ONLY picks up things you have dropped if you make it worth his while.
- Frequently argues back.
- Has a vendetta against all labradors. I blame the neighbour.
- Is well aware of his devilish good looks.
- Uses said good looks to his advantage.

Enjoys sleeping on the bed....only if he can squeeze between "mum and "dad"

Bloom Theory Camera Straps

“BLOOM THEORY was born from a dream” -  Vania and Christine.

The SimplyBloom girls, who are insanely talented, have blown me away with these unbelievably cute camera straps from their new company, Bloom Theory. It is not often that we are so lucky as to find adorable and practical accessories for our cameras, I swoon, ooh and Ahhh every time I look at them – which is a lot over the past few days; and it seems I am not the only one! Women photographers everywhere are swooning and thanking Vania and Christine  for realising their dream!

Feminine, practical and finished with the most delicate vintage touch, how can I not buy one! The problem now of course is which one do I choose? So far, Washed Ashore and Moonshine are neck and neck…. I wonder if I should buy both?!!!!

Washed Ashore - "Inspired by Grecian goddesses and Odysseus’ mermaids, Washed Ashore will cast a magic spell on you"

Moonshine "Inspired by the lavish style of Marie-Antoinette, this beauty will empower you."
