It was so much fun meeting Kate and Ian today in preparation of their wedding at Cranage Hall this summer. You pair make a great couple and I can not wait to shoot your big day! xx

After almost 2 years of being live, Foodcraft Fish and Chips’ website was in need of a new look! Keeping it in the family, John approached me to update the site and meat it our with some new pictures. I find it very difficult to say no to my hubby and of course, headed over to the shop today to take some images of him baking some of his delicious steak pies – Naturally, the smell of home-made pies always makes my tummy grumble and I had to come home with one after all that hard work! I need to be at the top of the game with quality control!

The SimplyBloom girls, who are insanely talented, have blown me away with these unbelievably cute camera straps from their new company, Bloom Theory. It is not often that we are so lucky as to find adorable and practical accessories for our cameras, I swoon, ooh and Ahhh every time I look at them – which is a lot over the past few days; and it seems I am not the only one! Women photographers everywhere are swooning and thanking Vania and Christine  for realising their dream!

Feminine, practical and finished with the most delicate vintage touch, how can I not buy one! The problem now of course is which one do I choose? So far, Washed Ashore and Moonshine are neck and neck…. I wonder if I should buy both?!!!!

All that time ago, Luke came into this world and changed my life. Completely.

I won’t lie; It was the most daunting experience of my young life and I was terrified to be a mother at such a young age. I thought ‘That was it for me’; but over the course of time, Luke altered my outlook of motherhood and started a chain of events that took me to places that I could never have been without him. Here, 10 years later at 28yrs, I’m happily married, with two wonderful sons, and  a blooming photography career! It was all down to Lukes’ inspirational personality that I was able to persue and achieve so much.

Although now presents seem to be getting smaller, but more expensive, and Im closer to looking up to him than down, my son, my life, has made me proud and grateful that he is mine.

They have embraced the versatility of the cupcake and aim to make our cupcakes so wicked bad not even Good Britney could resist (FYI, there are 2 Britney Spears, a good one and a bad slutty one. The bad slutty one took over 10 years ago and we’re pretty certain she killed the good one.) They use top quality ingredients that we DID NOT source from some Russian guy in a warehouse. Our extract is Madagascan and our eggs free range. Our icing sugar is British. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Capturing all the details of the day was a joy due to Sarah and Tim having obvious incredible taste when it came to decorating their springtime wedding at Wrenbury Hall in the heart of Cheshire. The venue was whimsically  decorated in delicate pastels of green and pink flowers, aptley shown off in wonderfully vintage watering cans,  which blended beautifully with the surroundings. I loved the little touches of a wishing tree for guests to post their wishes right through to the brides sparkling hair decoration!

It was an honour to be part of your magical day; it’s apparent your love will take you the distance….

One trip out, and a “Ker-ching” later, I was back home scissoring, sticking and having a ton of fun! Not only a cute prop for photographs, they can easily be made up as favours for guests, table place cards or even the menu!

As nerdy as I am with these little things (hey! Photography is all about the details!) I seriously can not wait to use them and will post up the resulting shot!
